I don't know that it looks like invisible stockings, exactly, but it did give my legs a noticable shimmery glow - a big change from my usual sallow color! I had my doubts when I first looked in the bottle, it looked awfully dark for me. It doesn't go on as dark as it looks in the bottle. It really does help to apply it with lotion, though. It's easy to wash off, too. The only thing I didn't like was the price. I thought it was a little too expensive for only 4 ounces, but that's just my opinion. The upside is that you really only need a little - it goes a long way. I would buy this again.
