Great eyeliner, but what's with the crappy shadow? December 30, 2008 I was born eyeliner retarded and have the hardest time applying it. Stila's Convertible Eye Color is easy for even me to apply. I have it in onyx, which is a great shade, and the product stays put all day and night. The only reason I can't give this product five starts is because the eyeshadow sucks! It's awkward to apply and looks like crap when I put it on, especially if I use the terrible applicator wand it came with. Next time I will save a few dollars and just purchase the eyeliner on its own.
I'm so impressed! July 29, 2008 I just purchased this eyeliner at Sephora a couple of days ago. At the time, I didn't even notice there was eyeshadow on the end with the sponge applicator, so that's just a "bonus" to me! But I got this eyeliner in "Stone," which I think is the most perfect everyday color for eyeliner. Black is just way too harsh for me! This grayish-brown color perfectly highlights my green-hazel eyes. I've found that the liner stays on best when smudged slightly, and put on after using Urban Decay eyeshadow primer (another product I adore). Including the shimmery shadow, you get a lot of bang for your buck ($20, gulp)! Definitely worth it.
Overall a Solid Product January 16, 2008 It's always been hard for me to find an eyeliner that goes on smoothly and delivers the perfect color. Before using this eyeliner, I could never find a product that went on this great. Other eyeliners go in chalky, rough, and dull. I love this product, except the color just doesn't stay. I believe that the fact that I'm a contact lens wearer, which makes my eyes watery. So if you have watery eyes or wear contacts, expect to re-apply often.
Just "OK" June 2, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Not my favorite...I like Avon glimmer stick. Liner disappears during the day. The tiny bit of shadow (hidden in the middle) does not even show on my eyes.
easiest eyeliner to use May 17, 2007 I am hopeless when it comes to doing my eyeliner (can never get the line straight with pencils) so I had given up for years... until I found the Stila eyeliner/eyeshadow combo. It's so smooth which is great for sensitive skins and has the bonus sponge tip. The eyeshadow has a little sparkle which makes eyes look sexy. I never leave home without it now!
