All about eyes Eye cream October 20, 2009 K. Cutrer (Charlotte, NC) I had reached the end of the jar I had purchased from the mall, and it was cheaper to order a "refill" online, so I did. I was very happy with how quickly the purchased arrived. It was exactly what I ordered. And from the fact I constantly get carded and I am a few months shy of 31, I'd say it's certainly doing it's job!
No more puffy eyes. June 2, 2009 Marlena (Lake Tahoe area, NV) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
One of the best eye creams I've used. It really seems to make puffiness less visible. It's very light, absorbs quick, and doens't interfere with make up application.
I think it has slight cool effect, but maybe it's just my perception, because in the morning those under eye puffs really disappear faster than with any other cream; very refreshing. Totally love it!
3 people, 3 bad reactions April 29, 2009 kitty mae (Greater Danbury Area, CT USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I could go into great detail about my experience with this but I'd be here forever. To make a long story shorter; my mom, my aunt(her sister), and I all purchased this product (all at different times and none of us knowing that the others had bought it as well) and we all had bad reactions to it. My aunt was the least severe; minor redness and swelling and mild itchiness around the eyes. My experience was a little worse, redness and chapped skin around the eyes and my entire face swelled and the itchiness was almost unbearable at times; focus spots of the itchiness were my eyes(obviously); mostly the brow bone and around my lower cheeks/jawline. My mom is more of a horror story; she received severe swelling and itchiness, hives and even blisters on her eyelids (OUCH!) and at times could not open her eyes. I understand that were are all related and that could be the reason we all had reactions, not just coincidence but neither my mom nor my aunt had ever had any reactions to beauty products before. I on the other hand am a mess; I have very sensitive skin. I am a HUGE fan of Clinique and this is the only product of theirs that I have had a negative experience with. Also, this product may work great for those who don't react to it but I don't know. The idea I'm trying to get at is if you have even slightly sensitive skin, I would proceed with caution on this product.
Did not work for me August 2, 2008 jC (Northern VA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Purchased product about 4 months ago. This is my first time ever for using any kind of facial cream or moisturizer. I have been using it every night at bedtime, but have only noticed the darkness around my eyes getting worse. Others have noticed it too. I do not have bags under my eyes, but just a darker skin coloring than the rest of my face. I've noticed the dark color spreading in the past few months. Also in the morning, I find that the product leaves a hardened residue that sometimes irritates my eyes. I do have East Asian skin, and was trying something not made for my type of skin.
Good I guess June 28, 2008 E (Bay Area, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I'm in my early 30s and have been trying various eye creams since my 20s. My eyes look better than my younger sister's, but there are too many other factors to consider so I'm not going to rave that All About Eyes is the reason I don't have crow's feet. But it's certainly hasn't hurt anything. Just a tiny tab is all you need, and it works well under liquid makeup as well. No complaints here.
