 One of the better fragrances I ever used January 4, 2009
So without wasting your time - here are the details you might be looking for:
1. Fragrance is really good.
2. You can use it in a formal environment i.e. workplace.
3. It does last for the whole day.
4. It's best fragrance one can get for this price (around $32 for 4.2 Oz).
5. Amazon has the best bargain you can get for original no-tester cologne.
A New Look, but the same great product December 23, 2008
The first thing you might notice when unwrapping the package is that the product looks slightly different than what's pictured on Amazon's website (stock image). I was a bit worried that I might have purchased a counterfeit item (google CVS and Cool Water), but after doing some research on Davidoff's website, I'm pleased to report my confidence level jump. I don't believe this is a counterfeit product at all...just a design change on the manufacturer's side. Please see the images I uploaded for reference.
I started wearing this in 1999 when my friend Diana recommended it. Almost 10 years later, I still wear it and it drives my girlfriend crazy (in a good way). She likes it so much that she bought a bottle for me last Christmas, and ended up using half of it herself. I bought her the Female version, but she likes the male version better. I have to hide this latest purchase from her...mainly because when I'm with her, I don't want to smell me...I want her to have that feminine scent.
For those who can't "smell" it after a few hours, PLEASE TAKE HEED OF THIS ADVICE. The human olfactory senses get used to scents after a given time period. Have you ever noticed that when you walk into a animal shelter or pet store, the smell of "wet dog" goes away after an hour or so? It really hasn't gone away; your brain just got used to the smell. The same holds true with cologne. Keep to the 1 or 2 spritzes a day and nothing more...Otherwise you run the risk of being "that guy" who walks out of an elevator (or any enclosed space) reeking of cologne.
Buy from Amazon. Cheapest place for the 4.2oz Bottle. Reliable.

Cool Water smells o.k.to me. But my wife LOVES it! Hence the five star review. End of story.

best for day use. nice and a light perfume with a slightly summery smell. can also be worn for beach or for a lunch out or something like that. though it is not really long lasting, so might not last more than 5 - 6 hours.
